McCann and Partners would like to congratulate Anthony Collins on completing the WiredScore and SmartScore Accredited Professional (AP) programs.

WiredScore is a global rating scheme which assesses, certifies, and improves digital connectivity in commercial and residential buildings. It is recognised by tenants, developers, and investors as a mark of quality, which enables tenants to understand, include, improve, and promote digital connectivity, whilst providing a competitive edge to Landlords who understand, appreciate, and provide market leading solutions.

SmartScore is also a global rating scheme, which champions cutting edge technology and identifies best in class smart buildings that deliver an exceptional user experience, drive cost efficiency, meet high standards of sustainability and support the needs of future generations.

The recent change in working habits has dramatically increased the reliance on digital connectivity. It has never been more vital to the success of office work, and tenants have an increased awareness of the importance of resilient connectivity infrastructure both at home and in the office. As a result, there is a heightened need for Landlords to be innovative with their approach to digital connectivity to attract and retain tenants.

Anthony is now qualified in all four WiredScore specialisms:

• WiredScore AP: Home

• WiredScore AP: Office (Development)

• WiredScore AP: Office (Occupied)

• SmartScore AP: Offices.

He said: “I’m delighted to have completed the AP programs, enhancing my knowledge and skillset, at a time of ever-increasing reliance on digital connectivity and smart technologies. This further strengthens McCann and Partners position to advise and help our clients understand, improve, benchmark, and promote best in class digital connectivity and smart technology in their new and existing buildings.”

“It is an exciting time to be a consulting engineer within the built environment where I believe smart technology, inherently dependent on reliable connectivity, will undoubtedly be a key instrument in the energy efficient and sustainable operation of healthy, user friendly and cost-effective buildings contributing to a net zero society.”

Justin Thomas, Director at McCann and Partners, said: “This is an excellent achievement for Anthony in becoming an AP and for McCann and Partners to expand our portfolio of services for our clients. Anthony is committed to achieving the very best outcomes for our clients whilst ensuring they are up to date with the very latest technology and infrastructure solutions. Well done Anthony!”
