We are delighted to welcome Joshua Boyd-Smith as part of McCann and Partners’ mechanical building service team.

Josh, from Bristol, joins McCann as an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer, having previously worked for four years at Atkins as a Building Services Engineer. While there, he worked on a variety of projects in the aviation, science, industry and technology sector including manufacturing facilities, clean room facilities and data centres.

The 27-year-old graduated from the University of West of England after studying for a degree in Architecture and Environmental Engineering. The joint nature of the degree encouraged him to work collaboratively to solve problems, something that he will utilise on all projects.

In his spare time, he is an avid rugby and football supporter and enjoys travelling to watch European football and Leicester City.

On joining the team, Josh said: “I’m delighted to have joined McCann and Partners and I’m excited about the new opportunity to learn and grow. My ambition is to become involved and use my experience and knowledge on more sustainability focused projects - being able to drive progress through the mechanical building services design from early stages through to detailed design.”

Associate Rhys Silcox said: “We are delighted to have Josh join the team at McCann and Partners. He will be a great addition to what is an already fantastic team of engineers.”
