On Wednesday the 24th July, McCann and Partners held a charity golf day at a scorching Cardiff Golf Club in aid of The Marine Conservation Society - the UK’s leading charity for the protection of our seas, shores and wildlife.

A total of 20 teams competed for the main prize, which was eventually won by team Morgan Sindall who managed to hold off team Faithful+Gould with the aid of the count-back rule.

Our teams all went home with plastic-free goodie bags that included bamboo golf tees and re-usable water bottles, and there were also prizes for nearest the pin and longest drive - congratulations to all the winners.

A huge thank you to our sponsors on the day; Vectair who kindly donated the prizes, and Stelrad who kindly paid bacon rolls and coffee, as well as to Graham Carr and Patrick Morgan for organising the day.

In total, we raised a respectable £2,453.00 for our chosen charity, which is a step closer to our £5,000 target.

Thank you once again to all who joined us on the day and we look forward to seeing you at one of our future events - details coming soon.
